My BMW Bobber,

| This week we made the fendermounts for the BMW Bobber. The mounts
are shaped like valves and have internal threads so the mounting
bolts will not be visible. After machining the 4 mounts we used
some welding rod as a bending template and bent all the mounts
to match it. We drilled the frame all the way through so the mounts
will be strong and because we could not fit the drill between
the frame rails;-) The mounts are MIG welded on the outside of
the frame and the MIG welds have been ground smooth. The insides
will be TIG welded. During mockup we temporarily welded the mounts
to the fender to hold it in place, the right side mounts are now
finished, the left side we will do later this week.
