Inspired by the wild creations of Ed Roth,
I felt like designing something completely
off the wall; this monster will have 3
S&S X-wedge engines behind the driver/rider,
who will be sitting in a kind of bubbletopped
torpedo-nose only inches above the tarmac!
To extract the maximum amount of adrenalin
from the poor guy or girl I also added 6
turbochargers, heh-heh!

Project started October 2009

14 August 2011:

I removed the top frame and fueltank and made a new 
    fueltank much further to the back, to improve the weight
    distribution.  The driver seat now has a headrest, and the 
    engines have a cover to improve the streamline. 
    I started beafing up the frame and plan to add adjustable
    air suspension so the whole thing will not get stuck on
    the first bump in the road...

23 July 2011:

All new renderings with new dash installed,
    slightly different colors, all chrome removed.

29 May 2011:

Model is starting to get too complex for 
    my hardware, will be upgrading soon. In the
    meantime a new dashboard, based on an
    early 60's Corvette dash.

13 November 2010:

Added classic butterfly steering wheel,
    modified primary belt and top frame.

18 September 2010:

Made much stronger topframe to 
    mount fueltank. Added fuellines.
    Worked on steering mechanism.

28 August 2010:

Replaced the seat with a new design
    Cut down the glass of the windshield
    Added details in steering mechanism

20 June 2010:

Added oiltank mounts on the frame
    Added reinforcements to frame
    Added subframe to hold  the giant fueltank
    Added linkages between the carbs
    Added more detail to steering mechanism

19 May 2010:

Worked on steering and oillines,
     beefed up spokes in rear wheel

5 May 2010:

Added hinge to driver compartment and
    added transmission mounts to frame

8 March 2010:

Made some ribbed timing covers for 
    the  X-wedge motors, added ribbed oiltanks,
    replaced all 3 brakediscs by floating discs,
    added all the oillines (except to the turbos)

9 February 2009:

Replaced the 15" solid rear wheel with a 21"
    5 spoke version to match the front wheels

29 January 2010:

I added new front wheels, inspired by the 
    steering wheel of a 50's car. Also changed
    the color, guess I am not a fan of purple...

15 January 2010:

I added front brake calipers and changed
    the rear wheel to match the ones on the front.
    I also started on the oillines.

29 December 2009:

Continued modeling the cab, added 
    bubble-window, changed front wheels
    added brackets between frame and turbo's

16 December 2009:

Moved the seat back to create more legroom, 
    continued work on the cab and added details
    to the fueltank.

2 December 2009:

Added a big fueltank, completed 
    the primary covers and started on
    the sheetmetal of the nose. Oh, and
    you probably noticed the color change...

18 November 2009:

Added rear shocks, a primitive seat and 
    some nuts & bolts
       
11 November 2009:

Worked on front suspension, continued 
    with primary covers.
          
4  November 2009:

Worked on front and rear suspension, 
    started on primary covers.

27 October 2009:

Added Weder carbs, intake and exhaust manifolds 
    and rear swingarms.

20  October 2009:

Continued work on frame, at the front you can see the 
    basic shape appearing, at the rear I worked on the 
    4-link suspension. Also added 6 Garrett turbo's!

13 October 2009:

Started with a rough layout of the main components, 
    the frame is set up so that the motors can be lifted 
    straight up and out, gearbox is a 6-speed HD, front 
    wheels are 21" and rear wheel is 15" x 230 for now, 
    allthough that will probably change...
