After many
hours I completed the postprocessing of the cases, which basically
means modelling them from the ground up using the scan as reference..
I might have
been finished sooner if I had not added all the drilled oil channels
in the left case, but I figured this was a good time to figure
out exatly where and how the oil moves through the engine. I might
add some cross-sections showing what I found next time. S&S Oilpump

In the meantime
I had a set of Shovelheads that I wanted to scan, special thatnks
to Ron Touw who blasted off the black coating making them easier
to scan. (the 3d scanner cannot "see" black)
