TIM
CAMERON

When I visited Australia recently I was fortunate
enough
to meet a fellow bikedesigner named Tim Cameron.
I had seen his work in magazines and was blown away
with how real his computer images look.

Instead of using CAD software Tim builds
his models with a program called Lightwave.
The advantage of this approach is that the models look more real,
the disadvantage is that Lightwave is not an engineering program
so it cannot be used for manufacturing or strength calculations
etcetera..

It was fun talking to someone who uses a completely different
method
to make CAD-bikes, and we decided that maybe we should do a project
together in the future where I could do the engineering and Tim
could make the realistic looking images
