After mounting the freshly painted tank I noticed that there was a bare metal bit left next to the fuelvalve. I machined a little collar from brass to cover it up, polished the old Pingel valve a bit and assembled it, problem solved!

 
 
 
 

I removed the paint from the headlight housing and polished the aluminum. Made a stronger headlight bracket and made an adaptor to fit a modern H7 bulb. Bracket will be powdercoated black by the way.

 
 
 
 
 

The handlebars were looking pretty ratty after all these years so with the help of Aad Heemskerk they were smoothed, welded, grinded and narrowed a bit more while we were at it. These will also be powdercoated black. Fuelpump for the Weber IDF carb is mounted above the front head where I can still reach it when neccesary...
