We roughly cut out the tankbottom/tunnel
slightly oversized, exact trimming will be done later. We decided
to raise the gascap slightly up out of the tank, with the big
S&S knucklehead motor and small tank we want to get as much
fuel as possible in there! So we machined a ring around the
threaded bung and all was welded together at the highest point
of the tank.
We fabricated some rubbermounts that will
be hidden from sight, allthough this will not be a showbike
we still want it as uncluttered as possible!
We are actually quite a bit further
