Although we have been working on other peoples bikes alot lately, Aad's project has not stopped completely. The ribbed oiltank I designed with Crime Scene Choppers arrived and so did the new Metzeler tires. After fixing the swingarm tabs in place with some welded in scap iron, Aad removed the left rear downtube completely. He replaced the "S" curved frame section with a straight section and welded the lower casting back in place. The left rear downtube has now moved about an inch towards the centerline of the frame, making enough room for the rear chain to go outside of the frame instead of inside. The swingarm mounts are still in their original place and the rear wheel will be exactly centered in the frame. Ofcourse we will need to fabricate a new swingarm.
