Aad cut out the "door" in the right tank half and fitted a stainless steel hinge. This is where we will put the battery, coil, fuelpump and more. On the left tank half he removed the inside and bottom walls and the original gascap, then he welded in a round piece of sheetmetal. The metal is one size thicker than the gastank and welded in so it sits even on the inside and sticks out slightly on the outside. This makes smoothing the tank later a lot easier!
