In the past I had removed the countrybar, I decided that was not such a good idea so we put back the front part of it connecting it to the tankmount structure. 17 unused holes in the frame were filled and several unused brackets removed.

The worst part of the frame was the area under the seat, we made a new seatpan from aluminum and welded a steel plate in front of the seat to get a nice clean area between seat and tank. The seat will be slightly barrower than the frame, in fact it leaves exactly half of the frametubes on the side exposed, so ofcourse they needed to be cleaned up too.

The rear part of the seat had to be shaped to follow the fender, we allowed about 3 mm gap everywhere to allow for the thickness of the upholstery.
