| Harley 4-speed swingarm frames, especially
with more power than stock, are known to break near the left
swingarm mount. The factory already welded a plate in that area,
but we removed that when we lowered the frame. The lowering
of the seat height in itself increases the strength a bit, but
just in case we came up with a bridge between the swingarm mounts.
This is bolted to a 10 mm battery plate that is supported by
the transmission cover, making it impossible for the frame to
be deformed by the torque of the engine. |
