Project started October 2023,

 

Next on the list, we wanted a Jockeyshifter that would look like something cast or forged, and starting with a simple sketch we started cutting, welding and bending

 
 
 
 
 
 

After welding and grinding we texturized the part and using heat and oil gave it a nice old looking finish. We found and old brass lever with the perfect ball on it for the shiftknob, so we cut that off and drilled and tapped it. We like how the shifter turned out, it cost us nothing but a few hours in the workshop!
