WEBER IDF CARBS

This week we continued work on the two long versions of our Weber
IDF manifold, using a new method where we machine motorflange and
pipe as a single part out of a piece of solid aluminum. Now we have
the wallthickness we wanted and we have eliminated 1 weld, this
seems to be a much better, stronger and faster way to make manifolds.

In the pictures above you can see the first (left) and second (right)
manifold we made, the first one had 5 parts and is for a bike with
a Sportster tank, the second has 4 parts and is for a bike with a 3,5
gallon fatbob tank. The rest of the manifolds will all be made out of
4 parts, next I will work on throttlecable and carb bracket design.
