CAD version here
We completed beadrolling the sides of the narrowed fender, trimmed
the sides and checked the radius, it fit the radius of the tire
perfectly! I felt that the rear tip needed some detail so I cut
a cardboard template and traced it onto some steel plate.
After a lot of sawing, filing, hammering and bending the steel
inserts matched the shape of the fender ( should have used the
4 inches of fender that I cut off earlier, duh!). |

I spotwelded the steel inserts in place and
welded the sides with my new MIG welder, my welds don't look
anywhere near as good as Aad's welds but after grinding, rewelding,
filing and even sandpapering they are not so bad....
