| This time we start fabricating a top motormount
from scratch, below is the design I came up with: |
| For reference, the first pic is of a stock
knucklehead top motormount. Not the most beautiful solution
so we will build our own. Using a full size print of my drawing
we built a little jig and started fabricating. A top motormount
should never be too strong as that will just put a lot of stress
on your heads, always leave some room for thermal expansion!

The simple little welding jig turned out
to be very usefull, other than that what can I say? A lot of
bending, filing, sanding and polishing as usual haha |
